PlayVS will NOT proactively reschedule matches occurring on a holiday. Coaches with matches on holidays are encouraged to reach out to their opponent in advance to request a reschedule. Teams joining the queue should prepare to compete remotely in the event their school is closed on match day.

** Chess Solos is a recreational title that will not have playoffs or a championship.

Titles that are updated on a yearly cadence are subject to unique schedules and rulebook changes until the upcoming release date is confirmed by our partners. Esports programs should not purchase these titles until the version used for PlayVS competitions has been confirmed.

Times may differ between different leagues and do not necessarily correspond with playoffs. Match time will be listed on your league’s page after logging in. Please confirm your school's match time if your state/regional league has multiple time zones.

Preseason is optional, but participation is strongly recommended! Participation will allow teams an opportunity to have a scheduled opponent for Week 1.

Playoff start dates & times may vary per league based on factors like bracket size, state league accommodations, broadcast accommodations, or game launch accommodations.

Recreational titles will not have Playoffs or Championships.

Titles are grouped based on enrollment to moderate school resources and ensure teams can compete in multiple matches within a given week. The game titles in each group will be updated here and shared in Coach Notes before the playoffs!
