Teams must compete from their school campus or designated location. Schools with extenuating circumstances must check with CHSAA administration for clearance to compete remotely.

For all Marvel Rivals matches, the following characters are banned from use:

- Black Widow
- Blade
- Deadpool
- Elsa Bloodstone
- Rocket Raccoon
- Star-Lord
- The Punisher
- The Hood
- Winter Soldier

The Fall 2026 season will follow the standard <a href="https://help.playvs.com/en/articles/14810637-high-school-fall-26-schedule" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">PlayVS Competition Schedule</a>. Specific information on playoffs and in-person championships will be shared as soon as it is available.
