Troubleshooting

If you are unable to see the event in the Play tab or unlock the event in the Compete tab, one of the following is likely true:

  1. Your Epic account is not connected to PlayVS at all.
  2. Your Epic account was not connected to PlayVS before the weekly cutoff (11:30am PT on Mondays).
  3. You are not on an enrolled PlayVS College Fortnite Solos or Trios team.
  4. You are on a PlayVS College Fortnite Solos or Trios team but it was not enrolled before the weekly cutoff (11:30am PT on Mondays).
  5. You are on the wrong server.
  6. You have been issued a competitive ban by Epic Games.

If you should be able to see the event in the Play or Compete tabs but cannot access it:

  1. Restart the client.
  2. TRIOS: Ensure you are friends with all members of your trio.
  3. Make sure you are on the correct server.
  4. If the steps above do not resolve your issue:
  • Re-validate install (PC only)
  • Restart your machine
  • Restart the client
  • Make sure you are on the correct server

If the steps above do not resolve the issue:

  • Player(s) will not be able to compete.
