Important

  1. Console Updates

    • Starting Fall ‘24, console competition will occur on either the Nintendo Switch system (Nintendo leagues), or the PlayStation 5, unless cross-play competition is possible.

    • Once finalized, all cross-play capabilities will be shared in in coach notes and added to each title’s respective rulebook.

  2. General Updates

    • Please check back for changes as new information will be added throughout the season. Season timelines may change for certain esport titles based on any game launches or patch updates.

  • Regular Enrollment Closes: 10/25/24

  • Late Enrollment Closes: 11/8/24

  • Preseason: Week of 10/21/24

  • Regular Season: 10/29/24 - 2/13/25

    • Holiday Breaks (no matches scheduled)

      • Thanksgiving Break: 11/26/24 - 11/28/24

      • Winter Break: 12/17/24 - 1/2/25

4:00 PM League Time

  • Tuesdays:

    • High School & Middle School: Super Smash Bros.™ Ultimate (Title A)

  • Thursdays:

    • High School: Madden NFL 25 (Title B)

    • Middle School: Mario Kart™ 8 Deluxe (Title B)

Important: Times may differ between different leagues and do not necessarily correspond with playoffs. Match time will be listed on your league’s page after logging in. Please confirm your school's match time if your state/regional league has multiple time zones.

CAA Fall ‘24 Schedule (Middle School & High School)

For Fall ‘24, all CAA high school and middle school leagues will have a total of 12 weeks during the regular season with holiday breaks for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.

Important: Preseason participation is optional but strongly recommended!

Important:

  • Any team that forfeits three (3) or more regular season matches will not be eligible for Playoffs or Championships.

  • Playoff Start dates & times may vary per league based on factors like bracket size, state league accommodations, broadcast accommodations, or game launch accommodations.

  • More specific playoff information will be found in PlayVS on your schedule page midway through the Regular Season.

  • Due to the length of time for playoffs to take place before finals, Playoff matches will occur on different days of the week than the regular season.

  • Winning teams may also be required to play multiple times in a week as they progress through the Playoffs.
