PlayVS High School 2021-2022 Scholarship Prizing Overview

For the 2021-2022 academic year PlayVS will be awarding $140,000 in scholarship prizes across many High School game titles! The prize at the end of the Fall & Spring season is a ticket to the PlayVS Cup, where teams can compete for the scholarship money.

Who is eligible to receive the scholarship?

Winners of the PlayVS Cup will be eligible for scholarship prizing. Prizing can be used at any accredited 4 year, 2 year, technical or vocational college.

Can a student still collect if they don’t pursue college?

Since it is our intention to encourage students to use the earnings to further their education, no cash prize offering will be available to those who choose not to accept the scholarship.

What if they are underclassmen?

We will hold their earnings for them until they graduate. Their scholarship money will be available to them at whatever time they begin their further education.

I am a prize winner from a previous season, can I still claim for cash?

No, as of 11/1/2021 all claims not already processed will be awarded in the form of scholarship earnings.

Who is processing the scholarships?

Scholarships will be awarded through our partners at Scholarship America.
