What is Marvel Rivals’ game objective?
Marvel Rivals is a superhero team-based action game. Players will assemble an all-star Marvel squad composed of some of the most iconic Marvel heroes and villains in order to compete against each other in an objective-based gameplay. Marvel Rivals requires a tremendous amount of team communication, critical thinking, and overall teamwork from players to control objectives and ultimately influence the match’s outcome for the win.
Which heroes, modes, and maps can I choose from?
Players will select from a large pool of different heroes and villains for their matches. Game modes and maps are available for selection in each game round as outlined in the Marvel Rivals Rulebook.
As Marvel Rivals is a live service game, new heroes and maps may be released during an active season. The inclusion of these heroes and maps to the current seasonal play will be available in the game’s rules and communicated to all active participants.

Marvel Rivals is free to play. Depending on your platform of choice, follow these simple steps:

Competition/Match Information
What is the match format?
Teams of six (6) players will compete in a Best-of-Five (Bo5) format against one another, rotating through different Marvel Rivals game modes and maps. Players will utilize heroes with their own set of skills and abilities to fill unique roles on the team and work together to attack, defend, or control the objectives and win the game. The first team to win 3 individual games will be awarded the win for the match.
How long are Marvel Rivals matches?
The average match time ranges between 40-60 minutes.
What days will Marvel Rivals be played on?
Marvel Rivals official match days will be Thursdays.
