Understanding the Dashboard

The dashboard on Blueprint.study is a single location for educators and students to see impending, upcoming, and overdue assignments.

Dashboard for Instructors and Administrators

Select the classroom to access their specific dashboard details.

To browse classrooms:

  • Click Classroom in the left-hand side navigation.

  • Select the classroom you wish to view.

The page will populate with the following sections:

  • Overview

  • Calendar

  • Recently Submitted

    • Fields will update with any grades and assignments applicable toward the classroom selected.

Summary of Features

The Overview page will provide the following details:

Class Grade

  • Listed under the Overview section, a percentage of the overall class grade will populate here as students start submitting assignments.

  • Selecting Class Grade will open the Gradebook of the specific classroom selected.

Assignments To Grade

  • The total number of assignments submitted by students will populate.

  • Selecting Assignments To Grade will open the Gradebook of the specific classroom selected.

Calendar

  • The Calendar will house current and upcoming lessons and activities of the current week.

    • The left and right arrows can be used to navigate to other weeks.

  • An Instructor or Site Administrator can select an assignment to view or even edit the lesson.

  • Clicking edit Schedule will open the monthly calendar editor to adjust any lessons as needed.

Recently Submitted

  • This section lists all student submissions with the following:

    • Assignment name

    • Student name

    • Original due date

    • Date the assignment was submitted. To the right of the section will be a β€œ

  • Clicking Visit Gradebook will open the Gradebook of the specific classroom selected.


Dashboard for Students

Summary of Features

Calendar

  • The Calendar will contain the current and upcoming lessons and activities of that week.

  • Select the left and right arrows to select different weeks.

  • A student can select an assignment in two ways:

    • From the Calendar

    • From the To-Do section

To-Do

  • The To-Do section will show all overdue assignments and the original due dates.

  • Students can select a desired assignment to begin working on the assignment.

Active Courses

  • Active Courses shows curriculum an Instructor or Site Administrator has permitted students to view if they want to browse topics or work ahead of their material.
