If you do not already have one, please create a PlayVS Account following the instructions from our Student Account on PlayVS article.

Login to the PlayVS Scholastic platform (https://app.playvs.com/) using your existing PlayVS Account or the one you created during Onboarding.

Only high school students 16 years or old will be able to enter PlayVS Recruit.

There are multiple ways to navigate to Recruit from your dashboard after logging in. By default, students will first the opporunity to join via an Unlock your college esports future pop-up.

Alternatively, if the pop-up has already been dismissed, students may use the Recruit banner in the top right or access college recruitment via the bottom left menu.

Before you can connect with college recruiters, your parent or guardian needs to provide their email. By providing their email, you confirm that your parent/guardian consents to you reaching out to college recruiters.

This is where you add your information so college recruiters understand your academics and what you're looking for from gaming/esports.

Please note, you do not have to link your Discord at this step. However, if you skip connecting here, you will be required to add a Discord connection later to be connected with college recruiters.

This is where you set your preferences so we can prioritize colleges that fit you the best.

When you arrive at this page, you've completed your Recruit setup! Now its time to wait for college opportunities to come to you.

Once you have set up your Recruit profile, you will periodically receive opportunities to connect with colleges upon logging into PlayVS.

At this point, it is mandatory for you to link your Discord account, otherwise you cannot proceed further in Recruit.

If you close a college connection without accepting or rejecting it, it will still reappear later. After a certain amount of time, if the connection is still ignored, it will be replaced by another connection opportunity from another college.

If you close a college connection by rejecting it, that college will not reappear again in the near future. Over time, you may encounter colleges previously rejected again, as long as they still have an active recruiting campaign.

If you tried to talk to a college, but weren't able to connect your Discord account at that time, you can find their Discord on the Connections page or check your email for a link directly into that Discord. You will still need to connect your Discord to PlayVS first.
