Overview
PlayVS and Capcom are partnering up for the Collegiate Championship! College students who meet the qualification requirements will be invited to compete in an online 1v1 Double Elimination Bracket for a total prize pool of $7,500 taking place June 12-13, 2026.
Eligible players will face off in a high-stakes bracket over two of competition to determine who will be crowned the Collegiate Champion. Those who have qualified through the Spring Season Playoffs or Spring Qualifiers will receive a direct invite to secure their spot on the bracket via email.
This is a 1v1 event, so it’s time to prove your individual skill on the big stage. Keep an eye on your inbox for your official invitation link, and make sure to finalize your registration on PlayVS Stadium to confirm your participation.
Eligibility Requirements
At time of entry, playing and awarding of prizes, players must be:
At least 16 years of age.
Located in the fifty (50) United States (including District of Columbia).
Be actively enrolled and participating in a college.
Qualification Invites
Players who meet either of the following criteria will receive an invitation to compete:
College Street Fighter Spring Season Playoffs: Top 4 teams (each individual player who competed in matches will receive an invitation).
College Street Fighter 6 Spring Qualifiers 1 & 2: Top 4 Finalists from each qualifier.
Note: If players meet multiple qualification requirements, invitations will be extended to runner-ups.
Sign-Up
To sign-up for the tournament:
Your Stadium Account Email will receive a Direct Link to sign up for the event.
Log into your PlayVS Stadium account.
Click Join this Event.
Click Create Team.
Enter your team information, then click Save.
Click Register Team.
Fill out the pre-registration survey information.
To finalize your registration, click Confirm.

Rules and Expectations
Rules
All matches will be Best-of-Five (Bo5) and follow the Match Instructions for PlayVS matches.
Double elimination Tournament Bracket
An additional match will be played in the event of a Bracket Reset.
Competition will occur virtually, with participants competing on PC, Xbox Series X/S, or PS5.
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win.
A maximum of 1 (one) entry per player.
At time of entry, playing and awarding of prize, players must be:
At least thirteen (13) years of age for college.
Located in the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec).
Be actively enrolled and participating in college.
Code of Conduct and Expectations
PlayVS
PlayVS will:
Provide direct support to participants completing tasks such as enrollment and account creation.
Provide match-day support to all competing participants.
Schedule all competitions related to the College Street Fighter 6 Collegiate Championships.
Publish event standings and results.
Players
Players will:
Ensure they are equipped with the technology necessary to compete in Street Fighter 6 tournament matches.
Before, during, and after Street Fighter 6 matches played on the PlayVS platform competitions, uphold the PlayVS Stadium Code of Conduct.
PlayVS maintains the right to withhold prizing in the event of a participating team member's violation of the PlayVS Code of Conduct or any other terms of this tournament.

THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“TERMS”) APPLY TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE COLLEGE STREET FIGHTER 6 WINTER TOURNAMENT (“TOURNAMENT”) PROVIDED BY PLAY VERSUS INC. AND ITS WEBSITES AND PLATFORMS (“PLAYVS”, “WE” “US” OR “OUR”), INCLUDING ANY CONTENT, FUNCTIONALITY, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES OFFERED ON OR THROUGH SUCH WEBSITES (COLLECTIVELY, THE “WEBSITE”), WHETHER AS A GUEST OR A REGISTERED USER.
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU START TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TOURNAMENT. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE TOURNAMENT, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND AND ABIDE BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF SERVICE, YOU MUST NOT USE THE SERVICES. IN PARTICULAR, WE WANT TO HIGHLIGHT SOME IMPORTANT TERMS, POLICIES, AND PROCEDURES IN THESE TERMS. You and PlayVS agree to resolve disputes between us in individual arbitration (not in court). We believe the alternative dispute-resolution process of arbitration will resolve any dispute fairly and more quickly and efficiently than formal court litigation. We explain the process in detail below, but we’ve put this up front (and in caps) because it’s important:

YOU AFFIRM THAT YOU HAVE REACHED THE LEGAL AGE OF MAJORITY, UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT THESE TERMS (INCLUDING ITS DISPUTE RESOLUTION TERMS) AND THAT IF YOU ARE UNDER THE LEGAL AGE OF MAJORITY, YOUR PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST CONSENT TO THESE TERMS. Changes to the Terms of Service
We may update these Terms from time to time; you should check this page regularly to take notice of any changes. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
Intellectual Property Rights
The Services, including all content, features, and functionality thereof, are owned by PlayVS, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
You are permitted to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use only, or legitimate business purposes related to your role as a current or prospective customer of PlayVS. Except as provided below, you must not copy, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, or transmit any of the material obtained through the Services, or delete, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices from copies of materials from the Services. However, if you are otherwise in compliance with these Terms, you are permitted to use, elsewhere and on other websites, an unaltered copy of portions of the content that is publicly available on the Website for the limited, non-commercial purpose of discussing such content.
Prohibited Uses
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
PlayVS has the right but not the obligation to monitor and edit or remove any account. PlayVS also has the right to terminate your access to all or part of the Services for any or no reason, including without limitation, any violation of these Terms. PlayVS may exercise these rights at any time, without notice or liability to you or any third party.
Limitation of Liability
To the full extent permissible by law, PlayVS will not be liable for any loss of profits or any indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with these Terms. These limitations and exclusions regarding damages apply even if any remedy fails to provide adequate compensation.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Any dispute or claim by you arising out of or related to these Terms shall be governed by California law, exclusive of its choice of law rules. For any disputes deemed not subject to binding individual arbitration, you and PlayVS agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Superior Court of Los Angeles, California. You and PlayVS agree to waive any jurisdictional, venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such courts (without affecting either party’s rights to remove a case to federal court if permissible), as well as any right to a jury trial. This paragraph will be interpreted as broadly as applicable law.
