PlayVS Fundraiser allows schools the ability to create fundraising campaigns to cover competition fees for the 2026-2027 scholastic year. With the financial transition, we remain committed to ensuring that no school is unable to compete due to financial constraints.
Schools that fundraise in Good Faith, but are still unable to cover the competition access fee, will maintain eligibility to compete on the platform, including advancement to playoffs should teams qualify. We want to ensure that no student or school will be turned away due to financial shortfalls.
Schools that meet or surpass the minimum competition access fee (including the 10% administrative fee applied by Groundspark), will not be affected by the Good Faith requirements below.
Good Faith Fundraising Requirements
All students participating in competition in the Fall 2026 season join as Participants in their PlayVS Fundraiser campaign.
Your PlayVS Fundraiser averages 20 contacts added per Participant.
Fills out a PlayVS Fundraiser Feedback Survey (emailed directly to participating Coaches on Monday, October 26th, 2026).
Your PlayVS Fundraiser begins their efforts no later than Friday, October 2nd, 2026.
Your PlayVS Fundraiser completes their fundraiser by Friday, November 6th, 2026.

FAQ
What does it mean to begin fundraising efforts?
By the deadline, campaigns should have added their competing players as participants in the campaign and either a) begun adding their contacts, or b) begun collecting donations.
When the time comes, how do we complete our fundraiser?
By the deadline, campaign managers will scroll down to the bottom of their Fundraiser Dashboard and select End Campaign to begin the process of closing their campaign. Note that this process is permanent and cannot be reversed.
How many contacts do my players need to have added for my school?
The number of contacts should be 20 times the number of participating players this season. If you have one Rocket League team, with 3 starters and 1 player as susbstitute on your bench, then you would need to reach a total of at least 80 contacts added between all four of your players.
How were the requirements determined?
We worked with our industry partner to set requirements that are solely for the benefit of our schools. Meeting each of these requirements will ensure that your team has the best opportunity to not just meet but exceed your fundraising goals.
