PlayVS Scholastic Events

Scholastic events aim to give our High School community additional opportunities to participate in esports competitions on behalf of their school. These events vary from season to season and may include current and brand-new titles for the PlayVS platform.

The Spring 2025 Scholastic Events will start with a qualifying round via the PlayVS Match Queue and then transition into a single-elimination tournament bracket. We are excited to offer College Football 25 once more!

FAQ

Which league should I enroll in?

Teams may enroll in any of the three (3) regional leagues that best suit their needs.

Can these matches be rescheduled?

Qualifier rounds and the first round of matches for each week cannot be rescheduled.

Tournament matches scheduled for 5:00/5:30 PM (recognized as the second match on a given match day) may be rescheduled until the day before the next round.

How do we qualify for the elimination bracket?

Teams must participate in and win one (1) match during the qualifier period to be eligible for the single-elimination bracket. Participation alone does not grant eligibility.

Larger leagues may be expanded into divisional leagues based on performance in the qualifiers. For example, teams with more wins may be included in division 1, whereas teams with less wins may be included in division 2.
