The Match Queue feature confirms a team’s readiness and automatically matches up teams for tournament competition shortly after joining. The Qualifier Match Queue is open for teams enrolled in a PlayVS tournament.
The qualifier queue will open 15 minutes before the scheduled match time, and close 5 minutes after to generate matches.
Joining the Qualifier Queue
To join the Qualifier Queue:
Login to app.playvs.com
Click Schedule
Locate your team’s Queue & click Open Match
Within the queue window, click the orange Find Opponent button
Check the My Team is Ready! Box
Click Join Queue
The qualifier queue will close and generate matches for teams 5 minutes after the scheduled match start time. Once you have joined, do not click Leave Queue unless you no longer wish to compete in the qualifier.

When should I join the qualifier queue?
Teams may join the qualifier queue at any point within the 15 minutes that the queue is open. Attempting to join the queue more than 5 minutes after the scheduled match time will not be recorded, and the team will not receive a match.
What do I need to do to qualify for the tournament I'm participating in?
A team must win at least one match from the qualifier queue to qualify for the tournament.
Will I need to join all available queues to qualify?
No. A team will only need to earn one match win from a single qualifier queue in order to qualify.
When does the queue close?
The queue will close and generate matches 5 minutes after the scheduled match start time.
What happens when my team is paired with an opponent?
Teams paired up will be shown their opponent briefly before being redirected to their Match Lobby page. If for any reason you are not redirected to the Match Lobby page, check your Schedule page for the match.
What if we do not receive an opponent?
While in the queue, once the timer reaches 0:00, our system will provide a Bye (a win) for your team, and qualify you for the tournament.
What happens if my team doesn’t join the queue in time?
Teams not in the queue will not receive a match, nor be granted a Bye win.
Can I reschedule my qualifier match queue slot, or my qualifier match?
No, Qualifier Match Queue matches cannot be rescheduled.
