What is the Upgrade Arena?
The PlayVS Upgrade Arena is a free-to-compete event open to participants ages 13-18 on the PlayVS Stadium platform to provide our community with additional opportunities to compete alongside the Fall 2024 season.
Verified users on the PlayVS Stadium platform may create or join a Rocket League team in the Upgrade Arena event at any time during registration. Matches will occur weekly on Fridays and Saturdays, with the semifinals and finals match broadcasted live on Saturday, October 9.

Qualifier Rounds:
Matches will occur between 9/27/2024 to 10/19/2024
Championship Event: 10/19/2024
Qualifier Rounds occur weekly on Fridays and Saturdays.
If both teams fail to show up for a match, they will both be eliminated from the bracket. Reschedules will not be permitted.
Prizing
Players become eligible for the first tier of prizing starting in the Quarterfinals (final 24 players). Players must participate in the Quarterfinals to be eligible; the three players that compete are eligible (no substitutions).
Prizing is provided by our partner, Lenovo, and is not exchangeable for cash or substitutions.
Prizes are as follows based on how far players make it in the tournament:

Prizes are per competing player, so for example, each player will receive a gaming monitor.
Requirements
Rules
All Rocket League competitions will follow the existing Rules and Match Instructions.
Best-of-5 (Bo5) matches leading up to Semifinals.
Best-of-7 (Bo7) Semifinals & Finals.
Competition for all matches will occur virtually.
A maximum of 1 (one) registered team per verified user.
Players must be 13 -18 years old at the time of entering and reside in the United States or Canada.
Residents of the Canadian province Québec are not eligible for competition.
To be eligible for any prize, Players must fully complete each round of participation.
For example, if a Player participates but does not fully complete a semi-final round, the player will not be eligible for a prize for that round.
Single elimination rounds for each tournament.
Code of Conduct & Expectations
PlayVS will:
Provide direct support to participants completing tasks such as enrollment and team creation.
Provide match-day support to all competing participants.
Schedule all competitions related to Upgrade Arena.
Publish event standings and results.
Players will:
Ensure all Team Members are equipped with the technology necessary to compete in Rocket League .
Uphold the PlayVS Stadium Code of Conduct before, during, and after PlayVS competitions.
