PCL Getting Started Guide

Information on how to get started on LeagueSpot as a Player, Captain, Coach, or Manager.

Player Account Registration

There are two methods to register as a player on your PlayVS College League

school’s page. Both methods require your verified school email.

Option 1 - Direct Registration

  1. Navigate to your school’s page on LeagueSpot - the easiest way is to use the search bar at the top of the page.

  2. Click the JOIN SCHOOL button that appears at the top right of your school’s page.

If your school is not listed, please contact PlayVS Support.

Option 2 - Inviting Students

  1. Provide your school’s esports manager with your email address so they can register you as a player on LeagueSpot. You can see who the managers are on your school’s page on LeagueSpot.

  2. Once your manager has entered your email address, you will receive an email invitation with a link to join your school.

  3. Follow the link provided in the email and fill out the registration page.

If you are a manager for your school’s esports program, you will be promoted to a manager if you are registered as a member through LeagueSpot. If this has not happened yet, please reach out to PlayVS Support.

Inviting Students

This process is for verified managers inviting students to their school.

Option 1- Manual Email Entry

  1. Navigate to My School. On smaller screens, My School can be accessed by selecting the icon and opening the sidebar menu.

  2. Select Invite Players next to the members list.

  1. Enter player email addresses into the text entry field that appears. Each email address needs to be separated by a comma.

  2. Select Send Invite.

If your players have not received the email, you can send them another one by repeating the invite process. Some school firewalls will auto-block the email before it gets to the inbox. If a student is still having trouble receiving the invitation email, please contact support at college@playvs.com.

Option 2 - URL Invite

Alternatively, you can provide an invite URL using JOIN URL, which allows students to register directly without receiving an email. Any student can use it and it has no limits. Due to this, there is a REGENERATE JOIN LINK button that invalidates the old link and provides you with a new one. The join URL does require students to register with their school’s email address.

Team Enrollment

Only Captains, Coaches, and School Managers can enroll teams.

  1. Navigate to the My Organization page. On smaller screens, My School can be accessed by selecting the icon and opening the sidebar menu.

  2. Select the team options menu using the three dots icon ().

  3. Select JOIN SEASON or CHANGE SEASON.

  4. Use the dropdown menu to choose the correct season.

  5. Select SET SEASON.

You can also register using the Join Season option directly on the individual team page. Please refer to our video tutorial for a full visual walkthrough.
