What is the game objective of Street Fighter 6?
Street Fighter 6 is a traditional 2D fighting style game and has a roster of 20+ unique characters with a variety of special abilities to choose from. Two players with their chosen character use a variety of attacks and abilities to knock out their opponent within the time limit.

There is also a paid DLC (or downloadable content) via Character Passes that unlock additional characters for your players to select. This purchase is not required to compete, but DLC characters are eligible for competition unless otherwise stated in the Street Fighter 6 Rulebook.
How do I download Street Fighter 6?
Street Fighter 6 can be purchased at retailers as a physical copy for consoles or online as a digital copy. After purchasing your copy, the game can be downloaded and/or installed using the download steps for the respective platform.

Competition/Match Information
What is the match format?
Teams of three players will compete in a series of 1v1 battles to determine the overall winner of a match. The match is a Best-of-5 series, each with Best-of-3 games.
Each team will select one of their three players to compete in the first series. These two players will face off one versus one in their Best-of-3 game. The first player to record two round wins will be awarded the win for the game. The first player to record two game wins will be awarded the win for the series.
Teams will then select their next player to compete and continue the match. The first team to record three series wins will be awarded the win for the match. Each game lasts about 4-5 minutes on average, with each match lasting about 45-60 minutes.
What days will Street Fighter 6 be played on?
Street Fighter 6’s official match days will be on Tuesdays.
What is the Fighter Select League?
To celebrate the addition of Street Fighter 6 to the PlayVS roster and in the spirit of the fighting game genre, we’re kicking up the competition with a prize-enabled league. When Street Fighter 6 teams enroll this Fall, coaches will have the opportunity to enroll one of their Street Fighter 6 teams into the Fighter Select high school league.
The Fighter Select League will run alongside the PlayVS Scholastic schedule, and follow the same format as the Fall 2024 Street Fighter 6 regional leagues. Teams will enroll their strongest team to compete in weekly seasonal play culminating in a single-elimination playoff made up of the top teams. The championship matches will be broadcasted in a special Fighter Select event.
What is the prize raffle?
Participating Street Fighter 6 teams will have multiple opportunities throughout the season to win prizes and giveaways, with additional prizing awarded to league finalists at the end of the season. To be eligible for the raffle prizes, a team will need to participate in at least one (1) week of the preseason and at least five (5) weeks of the regular season.
