Fortnite is an online video game platform developed and published by Epic Games. It hosts a variety of game modes and experiences created by both Epic Games and the broader community. Fortnite is rated T for Teen.
PlayVS Fortnite competitions will not feature the Battle Royale mode. Instead, we will be running a popular team vs team mode called Zone Wars. Zone Wars is a popular game mode that is a fast-paced, condensed version of the battle royale format.

What is the game objective of Fortnite: Zone Wars?
Zone War’s primary objective is to be the last team standing, outlasting all opponents. The playing area is relatively small and rapidly shrinks, forcing players to engage in skirmishes using their building and combat skills to outlast their opponents.
How long does each match take?
On average, each game is about 20 minutes. Match length total can be 60 minutes.
Time can vary based on team setup and match-up experience.

What platform will the game be played on?
While we recommend competing on PC & Gaming Consoles, as these are the main platforms used by the highest level of competition, Fortnite offers crossplay support for the following platforms:

What hardware or software will be required to play?
PC or compatible gaming console
Compatible controller, or mouse and keyboard
If a mouse and keyboard is used on a console, it must be directly connected with no adapters.

How do I download Fortnite?
Fortnite is free to play.
Fortnite can be downloaded digitally on multiple platforms:
PC
Download the Epic Games application.
Once downloaded, open your chosen application to search for Fortnite in the store.
Click Get to start the installation process.
Consoles (PS4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S, Nintendo Switch/Nintendo Switch 2)
Search for and download Fortnite from your console’s respective store application.
