What’s New
2026-2027 League Updates
Starting with the Fall 2026 season, PlayVS has transitioned back to a paid competition model. The platform-wide access fee will cover competition for any season a school participates in for the 2026-2027 school year. As always, there are no limitations on the number of titles, teams, or players a school may compete with.
PlayVS Fundraiser is available for to help schools with this financial transition. We are committed to ensuring no school is unable to compete due to financial constraints.

Fall Rulebook Updates
Our competition and game title rulebooks have been updated for the Fall ‘26 season.
We’ll highlight the major changes in future issues of this newsletter, but you can get ahead of the game by viewing the full list of changes in the Scholastic Summary of Changes and Additions (Fall 2026) help article.

Our optional preseason begins on Monday, Sept. 7th, with the regular season beginning the week of Sept. 21st.
All Fall ‘26 schedules are published and can be found in the Schedules collection of our Help Center.
Alternate schedules have been posted for our partners offering unique schedules for the Fall ‘26 or Winter ‘27 seasons.
Fall Enrollment Closes Soon - Don’t Miss Out!
Registration closes for the majority of PlayVS leagues on Friday, 9/18/2026, 11:59 PM league time.
