Marvel Rivals moves to Tuesday for Spring ‘27
Marvel Rivals will move from Thursdays to Tuesdays effective Spring 27.
Thank you to our coaches for providing feedback that the current competition day is also the normal Patch day for the title, and consistently causes delays on match day.
After reviewing title crossover amongst players on all other PlayVS offered Esports, it was determined that Tuesday was the next best available option for competition.
Week 8 Holiday Matches
Week 8 Matches that take place on November 11th Veterans Day are not rescheduled by default.
We encourage teams with matches on holidays to have their coaches reach out to opponents in advance to request a reschedule.

2026-2027 League Updates
Starting with the Fall 2026 season, PlayVS has transitioned back to a paid competition model. As always, there are no limitations on the number of titles, teams, or players a school may compete with.
PlayVS Fundraiser is available for to help schools with this financial transition. We are committed to ensuring no school is unable to compete due to financial constraints.
For more information on these updates, see PlayVS 2026-27 League Updates FAQ.
This is your last chance to take advantage of our early-bird pricing! Confirm your payment option (via credit card or invoice) by Friday, September 4th to lock in and save $100 on competition this year.
