Match Protocol (All Players)

  1. Once both teams are ready, the Home Team Captain will click Start and proceed to Agent Selection for map 1.

  2. Teams will select their agent for map 1.

  3. Once all players have selected their agent, or after the 80-second countdown, they will be taken to the map for the first game.

  4. Once the game begins, refer to Section 1.4 Stoppage of Play, if the following occurs:

    • A pause is needed

    • An in-game dispute must be submitted

    • A player or entire team disconnects

  5. Once game 1 is complete, take screenshots of the post-game lobby for your records.

  6. Both teams submit results using the Match Assistant.

    • If a substitution is needed, submit the roster change using the Match Assistant before the start of the next game.

  7. For game 2 and beyond, repeat the previous steps until the match is complete.

Post-Match Process

  • After both teams agree to the final game's result using the PlayVS Match Assistant, the match will be complete, and results will be recorded.

  • If the Match Assistant is skipped, sponsors are responsible for verifying that results have been reported manually.

  • Matches without results risk a match loss for both teams by default.

  • In the event of an error, contact PlayVS Support for further assistance.

By default, Rulebooks overrule Match Instructions. Please reach out to PlayVS Support if you find any conflicting information.
