Parents of players under the age of 13 will be required to create a PlayVS account in order for their kids to participate in our Middle School leagues. More information can be found in Middle School Leagues FAQ.
Create Your Parent Account
1. Go to Playvs.com and in the top right, select Sign Up.
2. Under How would you like to compete?, select which PlayVS league type you’d like to sign up for and click Sign Up.
Scholastics: Coach-led scholastic season schedule with weekly match competitions.
Stadium: Student-led events & tournaments with unique match schedules.
3. Under the birthday section, click Looking to Sign Up as a Parent.
4. Enter your birthday and Continue.
We use your date of birth to help verify your identity.
5. Enter your email and create a new password for your PlayVS Parent Account.
6. Enter your first and last name then Continue.
7. An email will be sent to you to confirm your identity. The subject title is “Confirm that you’re an adult for PlayVS”. Open the email and click I’m an Adult.
8. A new window will open for you to “Choose a method to verify that you are an adult.”
9. Choose Last 4 digits of SSN or Credit or Debit Card for Stripe to verify you by charging a small fee to your card. The small fee will be refunded after.
US parents can use CC or their Social Security Number and Canada parents can use CC or an ID Scan.
10. Once you choose a method of adult verification, then:
Enter the last 4 digits of your social security.
Enter your full credit or debit card number, expiry date, and security code. Then click Charge and Refund My Card.
11. When the verification is complete, the window will reload and read “Thank you. We’ve successfully confirmed that you’re an adult. You can now close this window.” Close the window.
12. Go back to your parent dashboard at app.playvs.com/app/parent-dashboard. Reload this window. If your account has been verified, the banner to verify will disappear from your parent dashboard.
13. On your Parent Dashboard, your profile should now include an orange button to Create Child Account.
The verification process is managed by Stripe. PlayVS does not collect any credit or debit card information at any point during this verification process. Kids Web Services (KWS) will charge a small fee of $.05 to the user’s card and fully refund it in approximately 7-13 business days.
Create Your Child’s Account
1.Login to your PlayVS Parent Account. Click the orange button on the home page of your Parent Dashboard to Create Child Account.
2. Review the Data Usage Agreement.
PlayVS takes your child’s privacy very seriously. PlayVS will never share child data with third parties for advertising purposes. Please review and approve PlayVS’s right to collect the information necessary for your child to use our platform. If you do not provide consent, then PlayVS will not collect, use, or disclose any of your child’s personal information.
3. If you have read and agreed to the PlayVS Terms of Use & Privacy Policy, provide consent for PlayVS to collect and share this data for your child, and verify that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child for which you are about to create a PlayVS account for. You can check all 3 boxes at the bottom of the page and click Continue.
4. Next, to Create an Account for Your Child, you will need to enter your child’s date of birth and click Continue.
If your child is over 13, they will need to use the link provided to create their own account.
5. Enter your child’s school email address and a password they can use for this account then select Create Account.
6. Enter your child’s first name, last name, and middle school graduation year. When complete, click Continue.
7. Select which esport(s) your child is interested in and then, click Continue.
8. Find your child’s school by toggling the state/province field and selecting their school state.
9. Search for the name of their school in the Search School field. It should automatically appear but if not, use the orange link to contact us to request we add it to the list!
10. Once you select your child’s school, click Continue.
11. The next window will show your Child Account Information.
Screenshot or take a photo and share the information with them, so they can sign in to their PlayVS account.
You can revise this information anytime.
12. Click Continue to Parent Dashboard.
Your Parent Dashboard will now include your child’s account under My Family Group and Members.
You can click the arrow on the right of the Child Account to edit the Child Information, School & Login Information, or revise other settings. You can also delete their account at any time.
Aging Up
When your child turns 13, they must personally accept the PlayVS Terms & Conditions. Once they accept, they can disconnect their player account from your parent account.

1. Log in to their Player Account.
2. Personally accept the PlayVS Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
3. Click Continue.
4. Under Account Settings, click Unlink From Parent.
