Overview
Review the Street Fighter 6 Rulebook.
Match Format: Best-of-5 (Bo5) Sets
Set Format: Best-of-3 (Bo3) Games (or Battles)
Join the lobby within the 30-minute grace period.
Communicate via Match Lobby Chat.
Home Teams will create private matches and send invitations.
In order to avoid giving any team an advantage, spectators should be removed from spectating unless both coaches have agreed to allow for a spectator by following section 7.7 Match Spectating from the league’s Competition Rulebook.
If there are any issues, finish the current game, then notify PlayVS Support for further assistance.

Setting Up the Match
In the PlayVS Match Assistant:
Confirm your starting roster.
Confirm your opponent’s starting roster.
Use the drop-down to select your starting player for the upcoming game.
Click Choose Your Character.
Use the drop-down to select your character, then click Confirm.
View the Character matchup, then click Continue.
Once you reach the Match Preview page, Create or Join the Arena using the steps below.
If the lobby is already created and shared in the Lobby Chat, continue to Match Protocol (All Players).
Create the Custom Game (Home Team)
Open Street Fighter 6.
Select Fighting Ground.
Under Online, select Custom Room.
Select Create Room.
Set Room Settings as listed:
Mode Settings
Mode: Singles
Battle Slots: 1 Slot set to One on One - 3 Slots set to Training
Rule Settings
Rounds: 3
Timer: 99
Matches to Win: 2
Room Settings
Privacy: Private
Spectating: Private
Click Create Room.
Open Menu, click Invite.
Under Search, click Search by player name.
Enter the opponent’s In-Game Account Name to invite them.
Join the Custom Game (Away Team)
Open Street Fighter 6.
Select Fighting Ground.
Under Online, select Custom Room.
Select View Invitations.
Under Rooms You’ve Been Invited To, accept the player’s invitation.
Match Protocol (All Players)
Stage selections and character costume selections are unique to each individual client. Use the Battle Settings option to compete on your preferred stage.
Using Battle Settings, select your Character.
Once ready, the first players from each team will select the One on One Battle Slot and join their assigned side.
Once the Battle Slot is full, both players will select Ready to enter the game
Play Game 1.
If a player disconnection occurs, refer to rulebook section 1.4.2 Player Disconnection.
Once Game 1 is complete, return to the PlayVS match lobby to report the results and continue the set as stated in rulebook section 3.2.2 Set & Game Setup.
Once the set is complete, teams will select their starting player for the next set.
Repeat the previous steps until the first three sets are completed.
If needed, rosters will reset and any player will be eligible to compete in Set 4.
If needed, teams can select either of the remaining two players to compete in Set 5.
Post-Match Process
After both teams agree to the final game's result using the PlayVS Match Assistant, the match will be complete, and results will be recorded.
Take in-game screenshots at the end of each game for your records.
If the Match Assistant is skipped, coaches are responsible for verifying that results have been reported manually
Matches without results will be quarantined and risk a match loss for both teams by default.
If the results are inaccurate, contact PlayVS Support for further assistance.
By default, rulebooks overrule match instructions. Please reach out to PlayVS Support if you find conflicting information.
