We know you will have some questions around next steps, so we put together some helpful info below to help with your transition along with an FAQ at the bottom to help guide you through this process

How This Impacts Your Program

  • Spring 2026 Competition – Beginning with the upcoming Spring 2026 season, all Vanta schools will compete on the PlayVS platform.

    • PlayVS is free to compete for both Middle and High School Programs

    • Account setup is quick and easy, and a step-by-step guide is available at this link.

  • Enhanced Service and Support – Schools will receive the same dedicated service and support they expect from Vanta, with the added resources of the expanded PlayVS team.

  • Vanta Spring Events Unaffected – All scheduled spring events, including the Hawaii Esports Invitational and championship LAN events.

  • Spring National Championships – Vanta high schools will be eligible to compete in the PlayVS Cup this May/June for a shot at a national championship and scholarship prizes in select game titles. More details to come.

  • Effective immediately, all billing matters will now be handled by PlayVS. For further information and to update your records, please refer to our Billing Resources page.

  • Expanded Access – Schools and students will have access to the most popular and widely played titles and greater competition with the network of thousands of PlayVS schools.

  • Greater Recognition – From new tournaments to enhanced access to state, regional, and national championships, we’re elevating the competitive experience for every student gamer and providing more opportunities for them to shine.

  • Connected Gaming Pathway – Through the PlayVS College League (PCL), PlayVS delivers a continuous education-centric gaming pathway from middle school through college.

What are the esport titles and their play days & match times that you are offering for the Spring 2026 Season?

Titles, play days, and match times will be listed on the below schedules.

Where can I find information about PlayVS game title offerings and rulebooks? More information can be found in this collection found on the PlayVS Help Center.

I competed in an esport title on Vanta that is not listed as an esport title in Spring for PlayVS, will those be offered in the future?

Titles that are not listed on the spring schedule will not be available for Spring 2026. PlayVS will continue to explore and evaluate additional game titles that can be brought on to the platform on a case by case basis. If titles do get added then these will be announced to the broader PlayVS community.

How does PlayVS currently operate their leagues?

What are "Break weeks" and why am I being prompted to select one when enrolling a team?

Break weeks are an optional feature which allows a team to indicate a week that they should not be scheduled for a match (typically due to Spring/Fall Break or observed holidays). Not all leagues will have break weeks available to them. More info around Break weeks can be found here.

How does the PlayVS's Match Queue work?

The PlayVS Match Queue confirms a team's readiness and works to automatically match up teams for competition. There is a lot to unpack and we encourage all coaches to become familiar with this article.

What is the PlayVS Match Assistant?

The PlayVS Match Assistant is a tool designed by PlayVS to help guide coaches through the start of a match and completion of the match. More information can be found here.

How do I connect my PlayVS Account with my game account for a particular esport title?
