Match Protocol (All Players)
Once all players have joined the lobby, the Lobby Owner will finalize the settings for the lobby:
150cc Race
Team Game
Normal Items
No COM
All Vehicles
6 Races
The Lobby Owner will assign players to their appropriate team:
Home Team is Red
Away Team is Blue
Once all players are ready, click OK to begin.
All players will select any track from the Track List that has not yet been selected.
Once selected, the chosen track is removed from the pool for the remainder of the six (6) race game.
If a player selects a track that has already been played in the six (6) race game, and their track is picked, a penalty of 15 points will be taken from the team’s final score for the game round.
Tracks that are repicked via Random selection will not receive a penalty.
At the end of a six (6) race game, the track pool will reset.
See Rulebook Section 1.7 Specific Rules: Track Selection for further information.
Once the race is complete, players will return to the lobby and select their track once more.
Repeat step 5 until all six (6) races are recorded.
In the event of a tie, an additional one (1) race will be set up directly following the conclusion of that game. Both teams will face off in that race and the winner of the tie-breaker is decided by the team with the highest point total at the end of the one (1) race.
The available track pool for selection does not reset until after the tiebreaker race is complete.
If a rule violation occurs, finish the set of races, do not submit results for the game, and notify PlayVS Support.
At all times, the Lobby Owner must ensure the correct settings and teams are assigned for the match.
Post-Match Process
After both teams agree to the final game's result using the PlayVS Match Assistant, the match will complete and results will be recorded.
Take in-game screenshots at the end of each game for your records.
If the Match Assistant is skipped, coaches are responsible for verifying that results have been reported manually.
Matches without results will be quarantined, and risk a match loss for both teams by default.
In the event of an error, contact PlayVS Support for further assistance.
By default, PlayVS Rulebooks overrule PlayVS Match Instructions. Please reach out to Support if you find conflicting information.
