The PlayVS Player Insider Panel will consist of 8 active PlayVS high school esports players selected to participate in UX Research for a 2 season period (Spring 2024 through Fall 2024) in which they will provide necessary insights and feedback to improve the PlayVS product and service.

Requirements

Participants are asked to commit to roughly 2 hours a month (this may include meeting with PlayVS Research, participating in Player Insider Focus Groups, answering surveys, or similar research participation), with flexibility during summer and holiday months.

Rewards

  1. $500 Scholarship at completion of service

Selection Criteria

We’re looking to create a well-rounded panel of players from all backgrounds and experiences. You don’t need to be a high-ranking player in one of our titles to participate! We are looking for players passionate about high school esports who can clearly and honestly share their feedback and ideas.

  1. PlayVS seeks to create a Player Insider Panel that is representative of the larger esport player community which may include any of the following: age, geographic location, gender, ethnicity, game title participation, and role within their teams (captain, player, sub, student manager, shoutcaster, social media manager, etc).

  2. Passion for esports and demonstrated commitment to their school’s esports program.

  3. Ability to provide constructive feedback and ideas to PlayVS staff.

  4. Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and collaborate with PlayVS staff.

  5. Desire and curiosity to improve the PlayVS platform, including new features.

  6. Punctuality and ability to remain focussed during monthly meetings with PlayVS.

  7. Available for 2 hours a month, including at least one, 1-hour remote (Google Meet) video meeting with PlayVS staff for the remainder of the 2-24 calendar year, with flexibility during summer and holiday months.
